iTunes Starting Up on Its Own

iTunes starts up on its own. I stop it and a couple of minutes later, its running again.

I have a 2018 Mac Mini (3.6 GHz., 8GB Memory), running macOS Mojave (10.14.5) and iTunes 12.9.5.5.

I removed it from the docking and it still starts.

Any ideas?

iTunes sits in memory but doesn't launch Hi, I have been having an issue with my iTunes install on my Windows 10 machine where when i go to launch it, it sits in memory but doesn't launch in the time frame it used to. Before, it would launch within seconds, now i'll be lucky if it launches within 5-10 minutes. On an SSD, this is pretty poor performance. When it does eventually launch, or at least when the window comes up, i still have to wait some time before i can click on anything within the program. But when i can get in, it behaves as quick as it normally would behave. The troubleshooting steps i have taken are as follows: uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled made sure iTunes had everything allowed in the firewall cleaned the registry

Itunes slow loading Recently it is taking 60 - 90 seconds for Itunes to load. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it twice. I am running a i7-8700 with 32gb ram. 500gb free on my primary ssd. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Pat

Itunes wuill not open. It is on an external drive. Path is correct. Why? It opened yesterday,but not today. it is on an external drive. I updated the device driver, but it was up to date. Apple says to open Itunes, but that is not possible. Any Thoughts?

Did you turn off the setting to open at login? > https://support.apple.com/kb/ph25590?locale=en_GB

If you Force Quit iTunes, does it stay closed?
