Mail has been missing from the share menu in Photos. It used to be there and I could email a photo straight from Photos. How can I get it back into the share menu? It's missing from the share menu in preferences too. I've just updated to Mojave 10.14.5 on my MacBook Air. Thank you.

How many photos have you selected for mailing? Some share items will vanish from the Share menu, if you select too many items at once. For example, I am no longer seeing Mail in the Share menu, if I select more than 100 photos.
Also, the Mail.app needs to be selected in the Mail > Preferences > General as the "Default Mail Reader". Are you using the native Mail.app as your Mail reader?

Thank you so much for your reply Leonie. I was only selecting a single photo, but I didn't have Mail selected as the Default Mail Reader in the Mail app. I've changed it to that and it has solved my problem. You're a genius.
