Properly charging the phone

espected,

i have a phone iphone XS MAX. I am interested in how to properly charge the phone so that the battery lasts as long as possible. Is it correct to recharge the battery? if the battery is discharged by half, do I have to allow it to end up 100% or wait for it to discharge completely? is the phone allowed to stay overnight on the charger? Does it damage the battery? Thank you for your response

You can charge at anytime, for any amount of time.

You can use it while charging.

You can leave it attached to the charging circuit after the battery reaches 100%.

Do NOT repeatedly deplete the battery to low levels.

That’s it. There is no need to try and micro-manage the charging process.
