My iPhone X currently has a battery health score of 92 percent after 10 months of usage. Also I realize the battery performance has dropped since I bought the phone last year. Should I think of replacing the battery? Or give the service store a visit?

Apple does not consider the iPhone's battery as an issue unless it cannot hold at least an 80% charge after 500 full recharging cycles ... so no, you don't need to replace its battery.
They consider that to be in the normal range.
I had one that was stuck on either 81 or 82 percent and it wasn't bad enough for them directly to address.
Live with it until it's no longer usable.
