My microphone isn’t working when I just installed iOS 12.3.1 on my iPad 5th generation. I don’t know how to fix it.

Reboot your iPad: Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time (keep holding past the swipe to shut down) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go.
