Trying to free up space. Classifieds takes up a ton of space and the only option is to delete. Since I don't know what's in this section, I'm fearful of deleting something that is required. Can anyone explain what purpose the Classifieds section serves? Thank you!

At some point, you installed an app, either on an iOS device or this Mac, called Classifieds and it had the ability to store its data in iCloud.
It appears the app has been delete, but not its data.
Where are you seeing "Classified" as used iCloud Storage? In the "System Preferences > iCloud > Manage" on a Mac? I have never seen "Classified" listed in the storage section, only a list of "Other ..." and many different application.
Could you post a screenshot? You do not mean the "Other" or "Other Documents" section in "System Preferences > iCloud > Manage"?
Do you mean other documents , is it the same as in screen shot , also Leonie explained the same thing or if you click on apple logo > about this Mac > storage > manage ( are you looking to delete some documents from here ) .

The icon is a generic placeholder icon vs. whatever the app's icon was.

Thanks, but I still don’t know what is in “classifieds” and what the implications are to choose delete.
I see Classifieds taking up 907.3KB No idea what is in it...the only option is delete, I can't see what it contains
