I received the following alert on my phone but don’t think it is legitimate. Here is it:
Dear User, xxx was used to sign in to a new web browser. xxx has been temporarily disabled for security reason. When you see this alerts, you can go to iforgot.apple.com to unlock your account with your existing password.Your Account will permanently disabled if you do not verify your account under 24 hoursApple Information
Has anyone else gotten this too!

They also used a very simple HTML trick to hide where that link is actually going. Tap and hold on the link to see the URL it would have sent you to. It clearly does not belong to Apple.
It's a scam. Apple will never threaten to lock your account.
In a message Apple will always address you by your real name, never by your email address or Dear Customer. Also the sent-from address should be @apple.com or @itunes.com Additionally Apple does not send attachments.
