What Generation is the new just released iPod Touch?

I have just ordered an iPod Touch, before I receive it I would like to buy a case for it but I don’t know what Generation the newest iPod Touch is, doesn’t say on information & tech specs but I wish to have a cover ready for my new iPod to go straight into when I receive & don’t want to end up with a case that doesn’t fit. I believe that the iPod I’m having delivered is the latest iteration but what Generation is it?
