Icons missing

My phone started acting funky the other day and it wouldn't let me open apps and certain things about the contact page started looking abnormal. We restored the phone twice and it deleted not only my messaging app but also my settings app and I have no way to get to them. Please help!

Similar questions

Icons disappeared at least 3 icons for apps, including their names, disappeared. My storage is not full. This phone is only a few months old. How do i get the icons back? I can search my phone and the app opens. For example, the Facebook icon and Google Chat are gone but if i search my phone, they open. Also why is the swipe and dictation so f’ed up??? Not intuitive at all - like the English language was removed from the intuitive features.

iPhone messed up after clearing storage I recently was trying to get rid of some apps on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and after deleting some ‘what i thought unnecessary apps’ my phone started acting weird and not showing me my icon just the names at the bottom. It won’t allow me to send out messages as well…

“Messages” app/icon missing I don’t know what happened but my messages app has been deleted or at least removed from my dashboard. I know it says that you can’t delete it but tried on another phone and you can. I tried to fetch it from the App Store but I can’t seem to find it. please help

Get an appointment at an Apple Store. Without a settings app, you cannot check for any restrictions or reset the layout.

You can’t delete the settings app. Try a spotlight search for it and see where it is.

I've searched for it and it's no where to be found. Like it was wiped clean off the phone. It's the same with my messaging app
