iPhone 6s Plus charging issue

I have an iPhone 6s Plus. Phone is in great condition. No liquid damage or any repairs done. The iPhone only charges with generic cables. The original 5w apple power adaptor and original apple cable does not charge the phone. I have 2 original cables and power adapters brand new. They both work perfectly fine on any other iPhone. Surprisingly only generic cables work even with the original power adaptor. So the original power adapter is fine. It’s the original iPhone cable that does not work on the iPhone 6s Plus. Also the battery is original and still has a fairly good maximum capacity charge at 88% according to the battery health on the device.

Thank you for attempting to help. I have used an led torch to check for lint or debris and none visible. I also powered off the device and used a toothpick to carefully make sure that nothing is inside the charging port. The issue still persists. It’s really strange that generic cables work but not the 2 original iPhone cables which are brand new out the box and tested on another device.

Same problem here mate. Im using original powerbrick and cable but this past month im having the same issue like you. And there is also a message that is popping out everytime i charge it, and it says “ this accessory may not be supported” and second prob after cleaning the port and cable tip it will charge but not for too long. Really hate that when it happens when charging it overnight
