Every other day I pick my phone up off a table and see it not responding...the first time I connected it to my computer and it told me the phone was in recovery mode; then began to download software....eventually errored out. But then I found out I could hold sleep/wake and home keys to get it to restart. I missed a few calls from the last time it did this, and I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm definitely taking it to the apple store, but wondering if anyone else is having this problem.
I went to update the software, it then went into a loop of cant restore, I paniced, and presently its all Syncing... what I did was I turned OFF my spyboot/AV software (I suppose there is a reason) but it seems to have worked for me!
I got home a few hours ago (7:00 PM EST time) and I noticed there was a new iOS 4.0.1 software update, so I decided to it update. The file downloaded just fine but when it tried to update my iPhone it failed (am guessing) now my iphone is in a constant "Restore Loop" and is unusable! It's a BRICK now instead of a phone.
I have tried restoring my iphone from my second computer ( MacPro Laptop ) to no avail, How do I get my phone working again?
mine did this twice, I'd go to use the phone and it was dead. nothing worked like the battery was dead but it wasn't, it wouldn't charge, turn back on, it did nothing. after about 5 min it restarted it's self... *** hasn't happened since the update but if it does again I"m going to the apple store.
