UNLOCK AN IPHONE 6 ON O2.

How can I unlock an iPhone 6 which is locked to Tesco O2? I do not have the phone's number when it was used on the O2 network a couple of years ago. Had been in storage. Bought it second hand.

Only the carrier it's locked to can authorize unlocking it.

Contact them.

If they decline, then it can't be unlocked.

You don’t need the telephone number, just the IMEI. Go to Telco O2’s web site and find their unlock request page and put in a request to unlock it. They will tell you if the can or will unlock it, or not.
