Can’t add yahoo email account

Have you contacted yahoo or looked at their support site?

This isn't an iphone or Apple issue, I have yahoo on my iphone and ipad, also when I had my X.

yahoo will probably tell you to use their yahoo mail app.

What happens when you try to add the account to the phone? Do you receive an error? If so, what is the complete text of the error? I'm not aware of a problem with the iPhone X and adding Yahoo accounts. I would think the ability to add an account lies with the account provider and the information entered into the phone.

One of the technicians helped me to solve the problem,here is what you need to do:

Settings—->

Accounts &password——>

choose yahoo mail——>

choose account——>

choose Outgoing server SMTP——>

Choose Add Server——>

host Name: smtp.mail.yahoo.com, and then your email address and your emails password, press SAVE,

This should fix your problem. Let us know
