iPad Pro with Smart Keyboard Broken

Is anyone else having problems with the 2018 iPad pros staying in their keyboard case? Mine slips out with the lightest touch and now has a broken screen. Of course this is 6 months after purchase, do I have any chance of not paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars to fix the screen since it is bonded to the display and digitizer (which both work perfectly).

iPad Pro, iOS 12

Accidental damage is not covered by Apple Warranty. If you purchased AppleCare+ when you purchased your iPad a replacement device would only cost $49. If you didn't, you'll have to invest in an Out of Warranty replacement at about 60% of the original purchase price of the iPad. Apple doesn't replace screens on iPads.
