Photos not working properly


Frequently I get segmentation as in the examples below. How can I stop this from happening, please?

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.12

Have you checked, if the original image files are corrupted?

Try to export such a broken image with "File > Export > Export unmodified Original".

Then open the exported original file in Preview. Does the original show the same corruption?

The original files were never corrupted when this happened. It happens during editing on Photo.

Often, but not every time.

Why and what can I do to fix this error in the editing software, please?

Note that when I delete and begin again, the same error happens.
