Why hasn’t my email updated since yesterday?

My email stopped updating at 5 PM yesterday. Don’t know why am not getting any new email? Verizon is my network and my bills are all paid up – and also with my server. Any suggestions?

There can be multiple reasons for email not getting updated

  1. You are not connected to 4G / Wifi with internet access
  2. The email server may be down
  3. You may not have any email, check it on a web browser
  4. Check you Spam / Junk Folder
  5. Accidentally you may have disabled (Toggle slide switch) outlook email on iPhone
    1. Settings > Password & Accounts > Outlook > Mail [Enable]
  6. Check if you have set any rules that may be moving emails to different folders

Thanks for your answer – I checked all those things except for the last one. I went to settings, I clicked on passwords and accounts, but there is nothing there that talks about “Outlook” or in “enable mail”. . I have the iPhone 6S. I usually get 5 to 6 emails every hour or more. I’ve only gotten two emails since 5 PM yesterday. I Checked my network and server and all seems to be OK. So I don’t know what the issue is? It only shows my email accounts – at the bottom it says “fetch new Data” then “Push”. That’s about it??
