Increasing font size within apps (Facebook and Google Chrome specifically)

I am 54 and I can no longer read the text size in either the Facebook app or in the Google Chrome app on my iPhone. All of the instructions for my phone only control everything else -- accessibility -- like text messages and my contacts, not these apps. There are no instructions anywhere for how to increase the font size within these apps unless I have an Android, which, today, is the first time I ever even considered switching to that. Please help!

iPhone XR, iOS 12

In iOS, an app must provide their own way to change font size or use iOS's built-in Dynamic Type.

If supported by those apps, instructions are here >> https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202828

If those apps do not support Dynamic Type, you need to approach them for a resolution. Apple has provided a way for them to support larger font sizes.
