Lost mac in airport probably stolen

Hi, I lost my mac air on between 5/26~5/27 in San Francisco airport. My mac was in my checked bag and someone, may be a staff in airport, took it. I locked my mac, and sound was pending. Two or three days ago, it rang out and the time when it was ringing is San Francisco’s local time. But the problem is that I cannot use the location service because of the law of South Korea which is that GPS tracking is not available in Korea.

So could you check the location of my mac air instead of me or is there any other chance to look for it.

Thanks

HA

I feel your best bet it to call the airport and talk to them. I know you are in another state but calling and chatting with someone form there staff would be a good idea. See if they have a way to contact there administration. I am sure this happens a lot at airports and there has to be some way to contact someone there that can talk to the staff to see if anything was taken. They most likely have cameras there as well. Anyways I hope you find your Macbook. Take Care
