Your Purchase Cpuld Not Be Completed

After entering the correct Apple ID and password to purchase something for an app, I received the notification “Your Purchase Could Not Be Completed”. I’m not sure why this error is occurring and was hoping you could help me figure it out. Thank you for your time!

If you are also getting a message to contact iTunes Support contact them and ask them (these are user forums, not iTunes Support, we won't know why you are getting the message) :

- go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww

- click on your country's flag (the country where you live, and which is therefore the country on your account)

- click on Contact Support towards the top right

- click on Get Help under 'Talk To Us'
