Syncing ipad with itunes
I am trying to sync my music to my ipad. my icon disappeared.

Which icon are you talking about? Do you mean the icon that shows your iPad at the upper left portion of the screen at the top of the sidebar? If that’s what you mean, that indicates that iTunes does not recognize your device.
