sudden vertical green lines on screen / phone died

Hello!

My iPhoneX displayed some vertical green lines on the screen and completely malfunctioned shortly after. I've read in other forums that this is a known problem with some iPhoneX and caused due to a hardware issue.

Any advice what to do next? Is Apple able to repair/replace the device?

What are my rights?

FYI, phone has never been dropped, damaged or touched by a drop of water/ liquid. Not even a scratch on the device. Also I had no previous issues with the phone until now.
