Haptic feedback

What prompts haptic feedback when the iPhone is off (screen is off, not powered down). Is it tied to an alert or notification? If so, which one? My phone has been getting the haptic 'click' sometimes when it is off. Happened multiple times today while in my pocket and when I was holding it. Did not appear to be tied to new texts or emails, so curious as to what it means.

Hello bogutus_maximus,

After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are receiving haptic feedback, but you are not receiving an alert or notification and you want to know why. You can see all your notifications and change how you get notifications on your Apple Watch.

Hi Allen A,

Thank you for the reply. This is happening on my iPhone. I don't have an Apple Watch. Is there a way to see a list of apps or notifications that utilize haptic for the iPhone? Feel like it should be in settings much like location services and you'd allow haptics for different prompts, but all I see is "System Haptics" and it is clicked on indicating "Play haptics for system controls and interactions." I am curious as to which interactions manifest themselves as haptic feedback so I can figure out what it means when my screen is off.
