How will I do an iOS device restoration once iTunes has been phased out?

Apple just announced that iTunes will be phased out and its functionality will be covered by Music, Podcasts and TV applications. Since iTunes will be phased out of personal computers, should I have a need to restore an iOS device outside of wirelessly (which is currently done by utilizing the iTunes application on MacOS or Windows, and plugging the iOS device into said computer), how will this be done once MacOS 10.15 Catalina is installed in a MacBook/iMac or equivalent phase out release for Windows?

Yes, I had head something to that effect. And, I agree. That was a Finder functionality past a certain point in the evolution of iOS devices (beginning with iPods back in the day). Question is one of how will the process be done, if substantially different that the User Experience of iTunes today?
