I received an email stating my Apple ID would be permanently locked if I didn’t reply. My question is is this a real email sent from you?

That will be a scam my friends, Apple will never permanently lock your account.

It's a scam. Just delete it. See > Avoid phishing emails, fake 'virus' alerts, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support
