Will I be able to use final cut on y macbook air? I have intent to buy the new air this month and I am just curious. Thanks!

It’ll be somewhat easier. If you keep the project simple it should be ok. If you can you should try them in an Apple Store.

It won't be easy. The screen is small and the system is underpowered.

Do you need a MB Air because of its lightness?
If not, a MB Pro will give far more performance for roughly the same cost.
