Apple Watch Series 3 Touch Screen Malfunctioning

My Apple Watch Series 3 Touch Screen is malfunctioning - just trying to put in passcode, and it keeps registering the "2" key whether it's touched or not. I've cleaned it thoroughly, rebooted several times, and at this point am locked out because it keeps misreading my passcode. Any idea what is up. This watch is only 1 year and 3 months old...

This sounds like a failing or damaged touch screen sensor. You have tried a restart, so the next step is Contact Support and get the hardware diagnosed.
