Can’t add a Pop email account on the Xr?

When Attempting to set up a new email account on my new iPhone XR I find there’s NO option to set up a pop email account. Ultimately I want to sync my iPhone email with my spectrum/charter email As I see it on my laptop / outlook 2007 program. Any suggestions?. Thanks

iPhone Email account My email account was originally set up on iPhone as a POP account. Mysteriously it stopped being able to send emails. I deleted the account and tried to set it up again. However, I no longer see the option to set up as a POP account. It automatically sets up as IMAP. I liked POP since I could delete emails from the iPhone and never have them deleted from the server. With IMAP, when I delete from iPhone it also deletes from the server. How can I continue to use email with a POP account?

Can't set email up as IMAP on iphone & ipad only POP3 I've had to delete and re-install my email on iphone and ipad (it is a BT email address) but it doesn't give me the option to set it up as a IMAP email and automatically does it as a POP3. I can't see how to change this (always have been able to before) and I now have over 3000 emails because it hasn't synced then as read, deleted etc. Any ideas what I am doing wrong. My iphone is on iOS 16.4.1 and Ipas is 16.3.1

How do I set up mail on an iphone 12 using Spectrum. I have a Road Runner account. I can’t get my mail set up on the IPhone 12. I have Spectrum and a Road Runner email. I never had trouble with other devices before.

Well, POP doesn't allow for syncing - what you delete on one device doesn't get deleted on any others.

Is that what you want?
