Dimming of series 1 iwatch

I have noticed in previous posts a couple of people who reported their series 1 apple watch becoming dim. Mine just did the same, most notably on the right side, to the point I can't really read it in bright sunlight. Tried the software fixes, and like the other posts, it didn't help. Just upgraded to a series 3. I hope the same thing won't happen in a couple of years.

Apple Watch Series 7 is too dark! Nach Englisch (US) I recently received my Apple Watch series 7 and I noticed that the maximum brightness is very dim in dark environments. I don't mean the always on brightness but the active brightness. I guess the problem exists since series 5/6 as I read it here. Is there no way to adjust this yourself? My series 4 is much brighter! Series 9 too dim at night I see everyone else is having the same problem. I’m a professional musician and Dj. I work strictly in dark environments. This watch is too dim at night. It’s completely unusable for me unfortunately. I REALLY like the watch during the day. Too bad. It seems like an easy fix? It’s bright during the day, but to dim at night?? I have the display brightness maxed out. My watch is 24 hours old. It looks as though I’ll have to return it sadly. It’s truly unusable. Too dim.

How do I get my Apple Watch to stay bright all the time? I never liked the idea of seeing a blank black screen on my wrist but then saw there was now the ‘Always On’ function YAY! So I bought the series 6. BUT why then does it dim a bit when not directly facing me ☹️? I wanted it to be fully on, whatever brightness I chose, so that for example whenever I’m sat down and it catches my eye I see the nice bright pretty screen and not a grim dark thing on my arm 🤦‍♀️. Any way of stopping it dimming at any time? Many thanks
