Passcode recovery

I connect my old iPhone to recover the passcode that I have forgotten but the restore will not pop up on my itunes

iPhone recovery code is being sent to old iPhone I have a work iphone which has been off for two years while I was away. I am trying to get back into it so I can get all my accesses restarted.
