my phone has only 16g capacity, I which I think it's not enough for IOS12. The thing is I recently switched a new carrier. But I can't get the update carrier settings to pop, can't use my cellular network. Anyone got any solution to help me out?please?

iOS12 doesn't use any more space than iOS 10. I think you may not be able to accomplish what you want without the update.
