Hi got a 1st gen apple watch! i try to turn it on and it goes straight to a white logo with the charger in then fades to a red logo and then turns off. I have done the Press the crown and power for over 10 seconds and nothing has worked! What can i do????
Sounds like hardware repair needed.

It is Apple’s decision whether a Service is covered by warranty or billable, but that can only be finally confirmed and a quote provided after the device has been examined in the hand by Apple’s service technicians. In your case a Series 1 is likely to be long past warranty so it will almost certainly be billable. Contact Support to get the official report and quote before you decide how to proceed.
But I don’t have Apple care and would it be free?
