MacBook Pro internet connection problem
The laptop connects to the LAN, but not to the internet. Router/Modem reset and all connections checked. This happened suddenly, with no known changes made to any network settings.

Hold down the Option key while you click the Wi-Fi Icon in the MenuBar.
Choose Wireless diagnostics... but do not create a summary report -- it is useless unless you are working with an Apple network engineer. It should be called a Network parameters DUMP, as it has no human-readable information.
