Instructions for replacing SIM card in IPad say push in and slot will pop out. It doesn’t. Then it says take to an Apple store. The closest is 3 hours away. Any ideas?

Make sure you are pushing with a small pin in the little hole on the sim card slot. If it still doesn't work, I would recommend taking it to the provider you are planning on having it on.
