problem resetting ipod
I've had problems now for a few days and couldn't fix it so did what I've down in past many times with other items and sent it back to factory settings. I can't remember 4 digit pin?

If it is the device passcode If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
If it is the screen time/restrictions passcode then basically the same thing but set up the device as new afterwards instead of restoring from backup.
