Regaining purchases

Hello

I just had my phone repaired -- when it was returned I was able to get back all of my stored info, however, I was unaware that I had opened a previous apple account many years ago that I had forgotten about. The phone kept asking me for my password to re-open the account on my phone, but I couldnt remember the password. I have had a chance to reset the password now -- is there any way to transfer the older material form my older account to my current one?
