Regaining purchases

Hello

I just had my phone repaired -- when it was returned I was able to get back all of my stored info, however, I was unaware that I had opened a previous apple account many years ago that I had forgotten about. The phone kept asking me for my password to re-open the account on my phone, but I couldnt remember the password. I have had a chance to reset the password now -- is there any way to transfer the older material form my older account to my current one?

No, all downloads are permanently tied to the account that downloaded them. You could potentially put both accounts into a Family Share.
