Need to reset or disable restriction passcode

I enabled restriction passcode which I am not able to recall. I need to reset settings for iPhone 7 but it ain’t allow without putting restriction passcode. I am already at 9th attempt. Please let me know how to either reset the passcode or disable it forever. Do not want to erase as I have lot of data.

Unfortunately, you have to. And you can't restore your iPhone from a backup because it will also restore this passcode.
