MacOS Sierra 12.6.03

Hi,

Whilst resetting Mac to factory settings, I excelled myself by deleting everything!

It appears that macOS is installed and I get the install window for MacOS Sierra 12.6.03, however, at the end of the install, I get "An error occurred while preparing the installation. Try running this application again." Which I have 5 times... I considered trying to download Sierra on my other MacBook to put on to USB and install, but I can't find the version to download.

Any advice on how to mend my stupidness would be appreciated.

Many Thanks

iMac Line (2012 and Later)

macOS Sierra is 10.12, not 12.6.03. If you want to try downloading it on your other computer, try using the link below.

Sierra download

You can make a bootable USB stick to install using these free programs which will do all the work for you.

Bootable USB Flash Drive – Diskmaker X      Disk Creator   or use Apple’s method       Create a bootable installer for OS
