Safari - how to remove the automatic redirect from Google to Bing

I have done ALL the suggestions for getting rid of the Bing redirect (all settings are set correctly - Google is set as the search engine to use, all extensions have been checked (eliminated), computer restarted, etc etc etc. However, STILL when I search from the search bar at the top it will go to Google for a split second then redirects to Bing. Please help - and not the "standard" answers - I've done all that already! Thank you!!!

Sounds like either adware or a hacked router. If you only experience it on your iMac it is more likely adware. Run a scan with MalwareBytes: https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/.
