So I was thinking about upgrading my phone and anyway it gets to the “choose your carrier” part and there’s at&t sprint version and T-Mobile. I have metropcs which are technically a part of t mobile so would I go with T-Mobile as my carrier?
I suggest you ask MetroPCS about which version of the iPhone to purchase to ensure you have the correct one that they support. They should be able to answer that for you, especially since that is your carrier.

They are not 'part of' T-Mobile. T-Mobile may have an ownership stake in them, but it is NOT the same company or the same carrier.
