Time machine backup warning

Why am I getting this message (every couple months):



It backs up every hour or so, the backups complete. I even had to replace my hard drive and restored it from the TM backup, and the restore was within a day or two of the replacement. Why does it think it hadn't done a backup?

That message, which in your case appears every couple of months, seems to be spurious and is probably a bug. I've seen it also.


For what it's worth I have not experienced it since upgrading to Mojave.
