Which idevice should i buy?

I own an ipad mini 2.I am thinking about upgrading.Should i get the ipad 9.7 2018 32 gb or an iPhone 6s plus 32 gb? I already own an iPhone,so this will be my secondary iOS device.I use my ipad mini for editing videos, photos, playing games, watching videos and reading pdfs. Please suggest an appropriate device for my usage style. 😁

If you can afford to spend a little more cash, I would go for either the older 2017, 10.5 inch screen iPad Pro or the new 2019, 10.5 inch screen iPad Air 3.

Both have more internal RAM and larger base data storage for video/photo editing and have a larger screen for doing things.

Any fairly recent iPads will support the new iPadOS in the Fall, too!

iPadOS is a game changer for all eligible iPads.

32 GBs ( actual usable data storage of approx. 26-27 GBs ) will simply get eaten up much quicker than a 64 GBs base storage iPad ( actual usable data space of 56-58 GBs ).

Refurbished iPad - iPad Pro 10.5" - Apple

iPad Air - Apple

Both ard priced very similarly, but you get more premium features in the 10.5 inch screen iPad Pro model.
