Forgot restrictions password

I forgot my restrictions pass and there seems to be no way to change it, I am trying to reset my phone .

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 12

If you forgot the password, you will have to wipe the phone and set it up as a new device.

you cannot restore from backup, as that will just restore the password.
