Apple Pay and wallet issues

Couldn’t Apple Pay my kid $20 denied by bank. Called bank they suggested updating card info cuz they couldn’t see another reason. I updated everything I could find. Still denied. Went into wallet and made sure it was updated. Still denied. Deleted card to re enter it. Recognized card asked for code on back of card then message popped up saying card was invalid!!!
