Apple Family Sharing

I want my kids/brother/sister to be able to use their own payment method in family sharing. I want them to be able to watch the films that I have purchased so I can't turn off payment sharing or can I?

I don't want them to have to buy apple gift cards, they need to be able to use their own credit cards.

Importantly they need to be able to view the films I have purchased. Can I turn off payment sharing or does this stop them viewing the purchased films I have bought? It is not clear at all as the purchase sharing option on the iphone in settings\"name"\family sharing shows an "app store" icon and not an "itunes store" icon... maybe that means it's just apps that aren't shared?

Thanks for any help.

No, whilst they are in a Family Share they cannot use their own credit or debit cards on their accounts, only the card on the organiser's account will be used.

And by 'turn off payment sharing' do you mean the sharing purchases setting ? That is whether or not you want other members to be able to redownload your past purchases, it's not for payments for purchases.

Additional note: Actually when I tap on "stop family purchase sharing" then it comes up and tells you that it stops sharing of films (etc.) so that answers half of my question.

So I'm left with wanting to let my kids/brother/sister use their own credit card...

Otherwise they won't be able to buy anything because I'll tell them not to (as it uses my credit card) as family sharing is more important than buying new stuff so surely that's impacting apple's sales...
