Auto Login

I have Mojave 10.14.4 and When I go to a website that requires a password and I have already saved it to autofill the username pops up as it always has. When I click it then it fills out the username and password but instead of waiting for me to manually click on the 'Login' button it logs in by itself. In the past this never happened.

Very annoying if I want to tweak something before login.

What did I do to cause this to happen and how can I get it to stop ??

Assuming you are using Chrome you can disable "Auto Sign-in" in Chrome > Preferences… > Autofill > Passwords.

You're welcome. Unfortunately all you can do in Safari is disable Preferences > AutoFill and uncheck "User names and passwords". However, if you do that you will have to fill in both each time.

You did nothing. It is now part of Safari. I don't know if there is any way to turn it off.

I haven't really dug into it as I don't know why I wouldn't want that to happen. I imagine if you turn off Autofill of usernames and passwords, it won't do that.

Thanks for the suggestion but I am not using Chrome. I use Safari.
