my phone is tweaking out and clicking things it’s self and the top left and right corners won’t work

There are things to review. First, if it only happens when connected to a Lightning cable you have a bad cable. Replace it. If that isn't the problem, see this Apple support link-->iPhone X Display Module Replacement Program for Touch Issues - Apple Support.

Sounds like you have a problem with the touch screen. Make an appointment at an Apple Store for an evaluation.
