I set up a password for Time Machine backups now every time I turn on my Mac it keeps asking for the password for the Time machine drive.Anyway I can turn of this feature & remove the password ,so it directly connects?

Thanks for the info.If I delete that partition on the hard drive that is asking for the password will it get things resolved? I would need to know how to delete that parition without messing up the other 2 partitions on the hard drive though!
I would not try that. If you are that concerned you may want to re-format your Time Machine drive which will erase it and start over.
