Docx overwrite pages

I had two documents one .docx and one .pages.

Somehow after editing the .docx file I saved it and overwritten my first .pages document.

My question is, how can i recover the first version of my .pages document?

I've already tried the method Revert to... and there aren't any past versions of the document, i think this is seen as a new .pages document.

THANK YOU!

When you overwrite a document, that is when you hope that you have a previous Time Machine backup of that document — one that you can restore. Otherwise, that overwritten content is lost.

If you do have Time Machine backups, rename the current overwritten filename, so it won't be overwritten again by the restore. Then launch Dock : Launchpad : Other : Time Machine. Change to the location of the file that you overwrote, and then use the arrow keys to go backwards in time prior to your overwrite accident. Select that Pages document, and click Restore.
