magic trackpad no haptic feedback

Hi there all!

Since I updated my iMac (late 2013) to the latest MacOS Mojave 10.14.5 my magic trackpad 2 stopped to give haptic feedback when clicking. Everything else works, clicking, force touch, gestures etc. but I don't get the haptic feedback at all. Tried a few things, hard wiring it via USB, resetting iMac, paired it again but so far nothing works.

Can anyone relate to this? Sporadically it works when I turn it off and on again, must this be a software issue?

I have the same problem that you have described. It has to be connected with software since the trackpad works from time to time, then it loses haptic feedback. I also noticed that after turning off and on the trackpad force touch was gone for some time. However, rebooting my Mac did the trick and now I am missing solely the haptic feedback.
