Airpods flashing green light, not connecting.

I get how to connect the AirPods, but when I open my case the light is automatically flashing green. When I press on the back button it, the light, turns white until I take my finger off then continues to flash green. It doesn’t connect to my phone whatsoever. what should I do?

try resetting you will need to hold the reset button at least 15 seconds or more
